i am planning to get an gen 2 integra is it worth doing an ls vtec or should i get a whole engine swap instead i relly want to do ls vtec be a fun challenge im thinking gsr head or itr head b18b1 block not that me miles or none if i can get a hold of one...i want to know what should i do should i get itr pistons i want to hear it from you guys not a website from one person...
It's not worth it to me, I mean it's cool. And the cars that have it (when done correctly) put out some decent numbers. But for the money, I'd just rather do a swap, and have a little more reliability. I know that an ls vtec can be reliable, but it's just more tricky. Search around, and you'll hear good stories....then, of course, you'll hear the bad ones.
ya i know its hard but i have time to do this swap i think it be a fun swap when all you think it prolly be a bitch!but i am going to try it anyway...
Please pm me where i can get i tunned good!

not worth it, just buy a better car. a lot of people think integras are the best car in the world and waste thousands of dollars on them. If you want a fast car you're better off just buying a fast car to begin with.

how long does a properly built LS/VTEC (lets say it has the correct parts, including CTR pistons) last?
Same as a regular engine? I would think an engine with this high compression would last under 100K miles.

ls vtec is good... i have one on my car... not a g2, but its an ls vtec.. well anyways if you can aford a swap do it and build that becasue of the relliablity of it. the ls vtec is prety relaiable to me because i havnt hit any problems with it yet but the only doubt i have is the vtec oil line because the oil usualy flows through the block insted of a tube. and if your going with that jdm jdm jdm is best stuff it would be better cause itsmore authentic. but for me its ls vtec all the way
theres no replacement for displacement

nooone knows, depends on the quality of the parts before you got them, if the install was done correctly, with the right parts and how you take care of it
btw your name will get you some serious **** on this site, not many people like Street racers like you and VIN, so be careful and dont' kill any of our friends on the road
