ls head vs gsr or b16 head???

ls head vs gsr or b16 head???
i'm thinking of possibly building a ls turbo. I know that Ls vtec is better in certain ways, but I know too many people doing ls vtec, so it's not exactly the direction I want to head in.
But here's my dilema, proly a stupid question but sh*t I don't know the answer so i gotta ask somebody. The ls head sucks, when boosting the ls head is the bottleneck. I know that the gsr or b16 head flows much better than the ls head. I know I can pnp, or slightly build the ls head, but in my opinion it's still not worth it. Can I slap a gsr/b16 head on the ls block, disable vtec, and have no complications or issues? It would be easier to tune, and it would flow much better. Also, how would a fully built head compare up to a stock gsr/b16 head?

Putting on a vtec head and not using the vtec is pointless. Youd also want to rev higher with the gsr or b16 head but thats probably not going to happen with an untouched block (though some people have gotten away with it). How much power are you looking to make?
