Default LS Vtec

Well i'm interested in getting a gsr but im not sure if im giong to be able to find one for a cheaper price where i live. And i was wondering what kinda cash are we looking at with setting up Vtec on an LS? Are ls with vtecs faster than gsr's stock? and how much whp does a lsvtec stock have?

And do you gotta replace any internals? I'm not very educated on this stuff.

Not so...Just go to a good shop...Give them your money, and BAM LS/VTEC!

both have great potential but will require lots of money. like stated previously, if your not well educated in the field of frankenstein motors skip it. They are a lot of work to keep running properly and would probably result in leaks and headaches if not PERFECTLY and PROPERLY assembled. Stick with the gsr.

even many shops dont do it right and the best shops will cost an arm and a leg.

depending on how the ls/vtec setup is built, it could perform similar to a stock gsr or it could blow ***** off of one. if you dont plan to put much money into the build than dont expect it to destroy a perfectly running gsr.

If you decide to go lsv, put some itr pistons and some ctr cams. and if you dont wanna do that then just buy a gsr.
