ls-v problem
i've just finish doing my ls-v, when i turn on the motor it revs normal. but when you step on the gas and let go it'll stay at 2000rpm, and then start to jump to 1000 back to 2000 continously. Also i noticed that the breather on the valve cover is not pushing air out like my stock civic engine, sucking in air when you let the engine idle. also it seems to be kinda smokey i think its bluish black. I just put in some ctr piston with stock rod, would it have something to do with my piston or rings. can someone please help me....oh the car is not tune yet.
i believe that tha cause for your fluctuating idle could be caused by a dirty IACV (idle air control valve) its located behind the intake mani. just remove it and spray brake clean-throtle body clean, or even supergreen would be sufficent . as for the blue smoke this could be cause by bad piston rings or bad valve seals.
