b series tranny
v-tec head gasket

you will need a lot more than this.

4000 dollars is a good start. dont plan on paying anything less for power AND reliabilty.

im currently building ls/vtec to. Ur gonna need a gsr water and oil pump.gsr timing belt. A LS head gasket and a vtec ecu and a b-series tranny. A gsr distributor, vtec solenoid if u dont already have it and wiring harness if ur putting it into a car that doesnt currently have vtec. Ur gonna also need new pistons B16, or b18c pistons, dont use LS pistons cause i read the valve releif isnt good enough. LS/Vtec is not cheap but if u do it right its a very strng motor

Good stuff. My lsvtec runs good also. She too is a happy motor. But with as much money as I've spent on her she better be happy. But I have a feeling that my motor won't be in a couple weeks. Thinking about putting the bottle back on for hot august nights. Let's see how 10psi, and 100 shot like 9.8:1 compression. I think it will take it. That's what I built it for.

v-tec head gasket

</TD></TR></TABLE>

You might want to do a little more research

anyway, you will need a vtec head, the head gasket of the block (not the head), some machine work (or you can get a Golden Eagle kit, makes life a WHOLE lot easier), best tranny for all motor is b16 or type r, the general H-T consensus for best turbo tranny is gsr. you will also need a vtec ecu and will have to run the vtec wires (not hard at all). takes 2 wires from the ecu thru the firewall into the engine bay, and 1 wire for oil pressure switch ground. also, i HIGHLY recommend a vtec oil pump, and water pump (must use new timing belt according to pump), and at the very least, arp rod bolts. and since you're pulling the head, doesnt hurt to put arp or similar head studs (make sure they are for a gsr though). hope that helps.
