Will they break? Never heard of such a thing. The ride quality may not be very good. Some people have mentioned problems with the threads stripping making them worthless, but that's the closest thing I've ever heard to them breaking. Hope this helps

I have no name coilovers and have had them for more than a year and they seem to be fine, but they do ride horrible but you can't find one set of coilovers that ride better than another, they all ride like crap.

When I bought my car it had coilovers on the front, well I really didn't like the ride much so figured i'd put what I wanted in for a suspension. . . well come to find out while taking out the old coilovers that both of them had cracked almost all the way up to the top!! I couldn't believe it, i'm soo glad I replaced them when I did, seriously, there was only about an inch to go on both of them before they broke all the way, to me it looked like the only thing keeping them together were the rings (not sure what there called) on them that allow you to adjust the height. .
they didn't look like a very quality coilover to begin with so you probably get what you pay for. .. . just thought i'd give my only coilover experience.

I've had some cheap maxspeed coilovers in the past and they pretty much broke. The threads did not strip, but my two front sleeves were bent. A friend of mine also had the same coilovers on his prelude and one of his front sleeves split in half.

Yes I have also seen cheap coilover sleeves get bent and eventually crack down at the bottom where it pushes down on the shock's spring perch.

to Koni-specific Ground Control coilovers, the only sleeve coilover I would ever use or recommend. My friend has that setup on his B18C-R EK hatch and it rides great... stiff, but a helluva lot better than my POS H&R Sport springs on Koni shocks.

if u dont mind a little more oscelated ride then u can stick with your springs u have but make sure u have some good dampers (struts) so that u dont lose control of your car easily - coilovers = ideal .. teins r perty nice
