I want to lower my gsr but only 1in all around and at most 1.5in all around, would just coilovers do or should I get struts as well?

if you just want to lower it, just get some springs and a nice set of KYB's.

I've read that you can't just swap out the springs to lower an integra. The struts supposedly fail. Is this true? I recently bought a 92 integra for my Daily driver and I want to keep the smooth stock ride quality. I would just like to lower the car for aesthetic purposes sionce I got some new 17" wheels.

I'm also thinking about getting sway bars to flatten out the cornering? What do you guys think?

Thanks,

J

no, screw lowering springs unless its a really good brand and reliable. i have lowering springs on my teg when i bought it. And now it sags to the left just a tiny lil bit. if ur gonna get springs get struts to like they said. But im getting coil overs in a couple of days so good luck!

If your going to do something do it right, get coilovers and struts but also get name brand products ex. skunk2, eibach, etc. for good performance.

how do you think coilovers are right? if you're not going to adjust ur car all the time, and just lower it.. and not into autoXing, whats the point of coilovers, its extra wasted money on a feature your never going to use, unless your in to track events with your car. unless you get a good deal on coilovers, i say just use springs.

for you saying name brand products. dont settle for ebay ish, i.e. dropzone, droptec any other weird *** brands on ebay... not worth it

and your best bet for buying stuff if your on a budget is either here in the class forums or go to ebay and find a powerseller of import parts.. and buy from them

i work with this guy named ken (the owner) of POWERGARAGE.. his email is power_garage@yahoo.com and he responds right away, always the same day, and sometimes with in minutes of emailing him
