still, the flywheel shouldn't cause that to happen. Mine doesn't do that for sure Sorry to not be helpful

Re: lightented flywheel. (garados)
well if you bought it used, i hope the guy didnt resurface or cut the flywheel.
Its a no no to have it done on a stock flywheel as per the Honda Service Bulletins, and an even bigger NO NO to do it on a lightened flywheel.

I've got an ACT 8.5lb and there is no vibration at all on mine. I'd say look at things other than the flywheel too....

That's a little scary, b/c the shop that charged my friend $400 for installation told him that if he didn't change the flywheel they were going to charge him $50 to re-surface it.

Carlo</TD></TR></TABLE>Obviously the flywheel is not balanced. If it is out of balance it will get worse as the rpm goes up. I don't even know if the CM flywheels come balanced.

Re: lightented flywheel. (ACTman)
I have the Clutchmasters 7.5 aluminum FW and I have had zero vibration problems.
Something not right with your tranny...
Ask the guys that installed it to open it it up at their cost and check.
Hoep that helps.

If i get a copy of the Honda TSB, ill post it here.
If you go with aftermarket parts, you can do whatever you want with it. I was in the market for an ITR flywheel and searched in the database for articles related to flywheels.
If there is uneven wear on the flywheel, have it replaced. If the wear is mild, try resurfacing. If youre resurfacing to shave off 5 lbs... youre just asking for trouble go out and buy a lightened flywheel, unless you like paying for the tranny to be openned several times in a week *chuckles*
