leaking oil from this?
ok so did an oil change and a couple of days later im leaking oil from this box next to the oil filter. i thought it was my filter but this black box was covered in oil. what is this thing called. searched and no luck. and how can i stop this leak?
It's the PCV return. There are a couple bolts holding it on. It plugs into the block and there is an o ring around the plug. I remember it being a PITA for some reason when i changed my o-ring.

haha leave it alone, oil only gets in there if there is too much pressure built up in your block and pressure is released.

Well if there's oil all over it, then I'd think that where the two hoses go into the top of it is leaking, but if all the oil is below it, then it's the gasket between it and the block.

That makes sense, although mine was actually cracked for some reason.
