ok i have a 1996 RS ... i just bought evoII exhaust....and greddy 4-2-1 header....all for an RS....now my problem is in the summer im doing the vtec and i need to know if the greddy header for and rs will fit on the gsr head and also the exhaust....becuase if not i guess i have to sell the stuff brand new right. that would really sux beucase then i just wasted my time buying all that stuff when it wont even fit when i do the vtec gsr head...

 

To your question im going to answer in 2 parts. YES and NO.

1) the header will bolt up to the vtec head. The exhaust side bolts up no problem.

2) im not sure after bolting it on to the head it will be at the exact same spot it was at the cat earlier. I think but not sure the Vtec heads' exhaust side is higher or farther out or something. (vtec experts help out!). So I hope that helps. GL!

 

To answer with one word: yes. When I had my LsVtec built and installed in my '97 RS, i used the stock RS (which is the same as the LS) header and full exhaust system including the catalytic converter. You should have no problems matching up the Vtec head and your existing aftermarket exhaust system.

Heh, sweet. I am gonna do one, tune it with turbo-edit and a DB1. Then plop it in a Civic(EF??).
