Knock Sensor Troubles
I bought a 1999 GSR with P0325 (Knock Sensor malf.) CEL on and have been trying to get rid of it for months, and I need to get rid of the CEL so i can SMOG.
The light doesn't turn on right away after the computer is cleared, it stays off until 1-2 miles of driving modestly than sends P0325 CEL.
First I tried replacing the knock sensor myself which was extremely difficult without a deep socket extension, but after the replacement there was no affect on the symptoms.
Next i took it to the shop who replaced the sensor again, replaced the plug and wiring, and checked for good continuity to my ECU (an aftermarket XS Engineering ECU at the time), still nothing. The guy said its was definitely my ECU. So i ordered a OEM p72-a04 ECU, plugged it in, but it still didn't fix the light.
Now im stumped, if anyone has any idea ideas it would be greatly appreciated. I really need to fix this problem before I go to college which is coming up fast.

Maybe, I thought it could have because on my XS Engineering ECU, theres a sticker that says for 92 octane only, but the highest i can get in my state is 91. but the code still came back with the OEM ecu. And wouldn't i be able to hear a knock just from driving it?
You also mention it's a 99, so you must have/had some sort of conversion harness right?
OBD-2a
Its a 99 Integra GSR

The board with the sticker on it is the XS ECU, and the blank one is the OEM ECU.
