Default kill switches

ok, yeah, like a lot of you guys, i'm fairly paranoid about my car's safety . anyways, does anyone have an ignition kill and/or fuel cutoff switch? if so, did you do it yourself? also, does anyone know if one or both of these come with any alarm packages? thanks.

i put a kill switch on my fuel pump. there is a main relay right next to the fusebox. i just spliced it off of the power wire and put the switch close so noone sees me hitting it when i go to start my car.

I wanted to reply to this but "sloth" has already spoken. I just dont like the fact that a "burglar" can be reading this thread to extend his knowlegde of breaking and entering into cars...

so just be careful what you say about what you have for SECURITY.

I have kill switch on my car. Look at it this way though, if they really wanted it bad enough, they will tow it. So go ahead and get it for the added security but remember that sometimes a little common sense can be a better defense than the best alarm.

it won't get towed if you park it right

unfortunately, this would require parking between two cars

most of the scandulous thieves wouldnt care if they ripped off your kit and exhaust...they would just tow it off and then strip whatevers left of it.
