jdm p72 or stock p72 which one is better?
Ok I have a guy thats trying to sell me his jdm gsr ecu for 275( I'm looking far a USDM ecu by the way) I want to know what's the diffrence between the two? I asked the guy but he won't tell me. And which one is better? And for $275 is that the right price for a jdm ecu?

I believe the JDM one is smaller and doesnt have that extra space to mount the additional chip and stuff. I heard they still can be chipped though, probably you gotta remove the stock ROM (not sure) if someone can confirm.
Well, if you are going to spend 275, dont buy a JDM P72, the USDM ones are the ones you should be getting.

Ive heard the IABS are wired different. You can still use it, but you have to repin the IAB part of the wiring I suppose. Thats just what I heard.

speed limits are different. US GSR ecu's have a higher demand. probably 80% of the jdm gsr obd1 p72 ecu's i've seen have been selling for $140-200...which is the same price as the obd1 usdm p72 ecu...except the US p72 will actually go for a few bucks more.
