Jack points foor 2000 ITR?
I know this has to be posted here somewhere, I just can't find it. Where do I position a floor jack when jacking up my 2000 ITR? Pictures would be ideal.
Thanks!

I believe you can find this information in the owner's manuel if you have it. If not ... I believe there are 4 under the side-sills/skirts (2 on each side). The jack points are metal ... sorry if my explanation is confusing.
edit: you could also jack your car up from the tow-hitch in the rear.

No that makes sense, but I'm actually looking to jack up one end of the car, not just a corner. I'm thinking there's got to be a point in the middle in front and in back where I can jack it up, then I'll put jack stands in the corners in the locations you suggest.
Thanks!

Yeah, if you have a strong hydro. jack, you can jack the car up from the tow hitch then slide jack stands underneath the jacking-points. A technique I use is to place one jack-stand underneath one jacking point then use the OEM scissor jack to bring up the adjacent jacking-point. Position the scissor-jack on one side of the jacking point, leaving room to fit a jack-stand to the side of it you left open. I'm sure I just confused the hell out of you .. but if not ... I hope this helps haha. good luck

It's very similar to this: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=691546
To lift the front there is a jacking point in the front/center that you can cup a jack onto to lift the whole front. It's a rectangular or square-ish metal piece that's about 12-18 inches back from the front of the bumper.
The same goes for the tow hook in the rear center in the back. You can jack up the whole rear with that point.
Good luck!

I never jack up my teg with the front tow hitches. I've seen somebody do that on their teg and as they were jacking up the car, the tow hitch started to bend inward. I jack up my teg in the front using the center jacking point.. As seen in the pic below

people said that they jacked their car up with the rear tow hook and it pushes it inward... making a dent on the underside...

What if someone very inexperienced doesn't know where the proper jack points are? They can't just jack the car from wherever they feel like it, they could bend the frame or do some damage.

should be. our cars don't weight nearly that much, not to mention not all the weight is placed on the jack.
