Hi peeps...I have an LS and swapped a 5 lugger from an ITR..after bleeding, I noticed that my pedal is a little deep than normal...do I have to change my proportioning valve or my master cylinder?? Please advise...thanks!!

Your prop valve is fine. I'd upgrade to a 98-01 1" MC if you don't have one already.

If the car has ABS, it already has a 1" master cylinder. Only the RS had a smaller master cylinder. The 98-01 master cylinders will not fit your car without major modifications to the brake lines.


Keep bleeding. Bleed the rears and then the fronts. You will need to repeat this cycle several times.

What year is your car? The size of the master cylinder should be stamped on it as well.
