itr 5 lug conversion brake question???????

Default itr 5 lug conversion brake question???????

hey guys been searching for a couple of hours and cant find what i need. i have a 92 si hb (4 wheel disc) and i'm doing the 5 lug conv. Will the car brake ok if i just swap the brakes over and don't change the brake booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve

pedal feel will be mushy and/or the brakes will lock up very fast. u'll need to change the master cylinder. I used a del sol vtec non ABS master.

was the master cylinder all you changed??? how about the bb or the prop. valve?? did the del sol mc bolt right up to the lines in your eg???

I would suggest you upgrading to a 90-93 Integra Brake Booster + 1" Master Cylinder to have the same brake feel as an ITR. ITRs have a 1" MC. The DA BB + MC will bolt up fine with the hard lines. Also, get a DA or 94-95 RS 4040 Prop valve. You should be good after that. Oh maybe upgrade to stainless brake lines.
