yes i have done it to my car, it uses the port on the back where the cd changer usually goes

i have a 2001 integra, i myself didnt want a new unit so i bought the ipod adapter and used my iphone for music

TO KNOW IF YOUR stock unit has a cd changer port just look at the front if theres a cd button and on it says "changer" on top u have it.
