Integra running problems
please help. I was driving my 1995 gsr up the highway for an hour in the rain. parked it for 2 hours, and when I got back in, it was skipping a little. It gradually got worse until it lost all power. It barely idles now. starts and runs though. i dont believe anything got wet. Heres what Ive tried:
New plug wires
plugs look clean and dry, 2 week old plugs
2 week old fuel filter.
put in dry gas in case of water in gas
fueled up 4 days ago, halfway through tank, probably not bad gas
any ideas on what it could be?? Im stumped.
It runs, but doesnt have enough powwer to move. no CEL's, VAFC reads fine. anyone run into this before?

You might check further into your ignition... I had something like this happen to me and it turned out the good ol' ignitor had failed. Word is, ignitors fail ALL the time. Tear apart your distributor (might replace the cap and rotor while you're there ~ at least take a look at it, those might be worn away) and test your ignitor and coil. Be aware that *sometimes* the coil and ignitor will check out to spec with a multimeter, but they will still not work.
When you drive it and get on it, does it feel like it's missing or skipping, bogging, or just powerless? You might check your timing as well.

not even enough power to get it to move. It will run, but any gas applied results in bog. I cant even get it to move
I get a MAP sensor CEL now. I found a vaccum line broken, but cant figure out which it is.

Aw sweet, you got a pretty good deal
. Whenever something like this happens to me, it's not that easy. Check out the VECI label underneith your hood for a vacuum line diagram or take a look in your Haynes or whatever repair manual for a vacuum diagram. Look for a line hanging off your intake manifold.
I have a G2 teg and the MAP sensor vacuum line comes out above the throttle body. Yours may be similar. Take a look around. If all your vacuum lines are good and attached, you can go through some diagnostics on your MAP sensor. It may be time for a new one.

MAP sensor seems to read okay on my VAFC, and it doesnt change when I unplug it
Things ive checked:
-MAP sensor
-TPS sensor
-timing
-compression
-bad gas/water in gas
-spark plugs
-plug wires
-fuel filter
-vaccum lines
?? any other advicE?
it idles now, but just has not enough power to move. NO CELS. wtf.

$650 later, 2 garages, and about 8 mechanics, on top of many hours by me, a friend and I found it to be a clogged injector
At least ******** garages had me buy a new distributor, cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs, and TRIED to get me to buy a fuel pump and do head work. Ill never go to a garage again. I want my $650 back. thanks for the help man. What a pain in the ***. Runs great now though!!! one was 100% clogged, one 50% and two 20%. I was suprised how easy it is to clean the screens in the injectors. Garages charge an arm and a leg for injector cleaning too!!! And also, my acura manual says NOTHING about the small filters throughout the ENTIRE injector/ fuel chapter.
Oh well, its fixed and im happy. Just in time for the last auto x on sunday.

Good to hear it, bro. Seems odd the injectors clogged up that quickly. Maybe it your fuel filter change had something to contribute? Just a thought. Good news, nonetheless.
