so im haveing a big problem with my 97 acura integra every time it moves i hear this big poping/clunking sound and its so bad i can feel it in the car its like an earthqiuck it does it nonstop when im turning the trans is a 5 speed hydro and need some help what is wrong i know it could be the axle but its sounds super bad so could the trans be mesed up somehow the gears all go in smooth and it takes off good so plz get back asap it sucks not haveing a car

not the axles i was draning the trans fluid and some metal shaving came out so i opened up the diff and metal chunks fell out looks like i got a big problem

I had this happen on my da integra but my trans actually exploded it's more then likely the cross pin failed that holds the spider gears in the transmission. This would explain the clunk. The trans might be salvageable or a used one could be sourced for not to much coin.

 

im sure none of the gears is mested up i think a bearing failed since the scapes i found were part of the bearing i find out when i take the rest apart this weekend tou
