Installing JDM climate control?
Is there anything that I need to worry about when installing a JDM climate control? It seems like the temprature control is different. It slides so east and there isn't a arm hooked to it. It just looks like it's electronically controlled. There's a green plug that looks like it needs a connector to control the temp. Am I wrong here and have nothing to worry about?

Does your climate control have the numbers for the temp and "auto" for the fan? I don't know how to hook the auto part up. I believe you can hook it up without the auto part. The SiR-G control wasn't electronic.
It doesn't have any numbers on the Temp part of the climate control. It just has the lever that you move back and forth to adjust the temp. For the fan controls on the stock one, it just says Off, 1, 2, 3, 4.
I haven't taken my old climate control off yet to see if it'll work. I know that I broke the lever **** on the temp side and figured I'd just buy a JDM Carbon one.
I hope it works. Just threw me off when I didn't see the lever behind the temp adjustor.

That's what got me. The JDM one slides so easy. There appears to be nothing connected to it. That's what made me wonder if something was missing from it or wrong with it. You can feel it click, almost like the fan lever. Granted, there are more clicks on the temp lever.
That's how I broke mine. Tried to change the guage quickly, and it snapped the **** from the arm.

Take the one in your car out and you'll see the stuff you have to transfer over to the JDM one. The hardest part is probably diconnecting the swtiches on the back of the cc, be ready for some cuts on your hand.
no worries man i had the same problem with my 1997 integra.
just take what you need from the old one and transfer over
and you should be good to go.
word of caution be very careful with all of the CC parts due to the fact that,
all of the **** is so easily prone to breaking

Pain in the ***. Got it all installed in about 1 hr, or so. Had to swap a metal arm to control the temp. But, I had to disconnect the cable itself. Not too bad. So I thought. Could not get that damn thing reconnected. Finally, I got it. After beating my hands to hell.
Looks so damn nice though. Love that red glow from the CC.

I thought the JDM one had every thing mirror imaged. Isnt that one from a type R?

They both look the same to me??? Is there any difference??? except the bottom one is missing the hazard/defrost buttons......I would think that a JDM one would be reversed as it is a right hand drive.
