Default EG6 Climate Control

Does the JDM EG6 have automatic climate control? The cluster shows an "AUTO" button, an "AUTO" selection for the fan, and temperature numbers on the slider, but does it really automatically control the temperature?

If I install the JDM climate control panel into a USDM hatch, is that all I need to get the automatic climate control?

acutally most JDM heads out there only use the JDM faceplate. it is hard as hell to use the whole climate control unit because it is different from the usdm one.

What changes need to be made to the USDM car to convert it completely to the JDM automatic climate control?

almost impossible...

You'd probably need the entire under dash a/c system, all the fans, meant to fit on the wrong side of the dash, the wiring harness for it, all the stupid, different ****. It's been discussed a million times. I won't say it's impossible, b/c nothing is impossible, but it's a HUGE mission. Just switch the plates.

I was thinking that by getting the front clip off of an SiR, this would be more possible, but with everything in the SiR right hand drive, it'd probably be a real pain in the butt. I should just buy a real EG6...

I just change the face plate because it impossible to get the climate control in the USDM civic due to the whoe Left hand drive thing. Unless you wat to spend the money and time. Just change the face plate and bulbs.

The JDm ones are electronic while the USDM ones are pulled by a cable. So it is quite impossible.
