c-speedracing.com has info
basically jack car up, spray down all bolts with wd40 or some lube.
remove o2 sensor/s, remove stock header
replace gasket if you want and bolt on new header then reinstall o2 sensor/s
btw you'll need 12mm and 14mm

Headers huh ? You're putting more than one on your GS-R ?

Anyways....now that I got that out of my system....how far along are you ? It's pretty straight forward. Take all the bolts off of the manifold (that's the part that mounts to the head).

If you have your car high enough off the ground...you can take it off in one piece. There should be 2 bolts that are where the downpipe meets the cat. Take those off. And there are 2 more on a bracket about half-way up the downpipe from the cat.

If you cannot take it off in one piece, you'll have to separate it by removing the 3 bolts where the manifold meets the downpipe.

Unbolt the bolts on the head and at the cat. Remove the old one, put on the new header and tighten. It's that easy. Also, you might want to change the donut gasket between the header and the cat.

you'll definitely want to replace the gaskets. i just did mine last week (95 gsr), and i was very glad that i bought new gaskets and bolts & springs (for attaching at the cat).

i got my info from team-integra.net, but as everyone else has said, its very straightforward. be careful takin those nuts off though.

If you want pretty pictures, these instructions may help. All headers install the same way pretty much. The most important things are:

1. don't mess up your o2 sensors
2. dont overtighten the bolts that connect the header to the block (23 ft/lbs)
3. it might be a pain with a 1 piece header to maneuver it into position, so you may need to loosen the radiator fan and move it out of the way.
4. Use anti-seize when screwing in your o2 sensor
5. make sure the header gasket is in good condition before putting it back on

I think that's it, good luck. And if worse comes to worse, you live in irvine, just drive to Corona and ask them how to do it.

With a '95 GSR you don't have to mess with your O2 sensor. It's screwed into the cat, not in the A-pipe. Before you unbolt the exhaust, unplug the wiring harness to the O2 sensor so you don't pull the wires apart. When you unbolt your cat from the A-pipe, the cat wants to drop down, so just put a jack or a 2x4 under it to kinda hold it in place.

Did you already torque the bolts to the head? If you did, loosen them a bit, then connect the exhaust to the header collector, then retorque the head bolts. It might just be that there is too much tension because the head bolts are already tightened.

Hmmm, are you using spring bolts to connect the catalytic converter to the header? Those should allow enough play that it can be at a bit of a funny angle. I know mine is kinda crooked because my exhaust piping is slightly crooked as well, but it makes a seal. If nothing works, and you are already using spring bolts, than just take it to a muffler shop, tell them to heat one of the bends of your exhaust up with a torch and try to bend the pipe so it's not crooked and will mate easily to the collector.

Mine pretty much bolted right up. The only thing I remember was that a cold exhaust is maybe 1/2" shorter than when it's hot, so the hangers towards the back of the car are kinda trying to pull the cat away from the A-pipe.

Are any of those hangers messed up? Partly pulled off of their hooks? Ever been in a fender-bender where maybe your exhaust pipe got bent?

Like purplegsr said, leave the manifold/head bolts & the manifold/Apipe bolts a bit loose so you can align the system before you tighten everything.
