Default Installation Question!

Hey guys, a friend and i installed a header, cat, b-pipe, and spoon n1 on my 99 gsr yesterday. We had many problems along the way (stock parts were not coming off easy), but got everything on and running okay seven hours later. I do have a question regarding the second o2 sensor though. We cut the wires for second o2 sensor during the removal of stock parts because something was stuck and being a pain in the ***. I put the o2 sensor (wires cut) on cat to prevent a leak, but it obviously throws check engine light. The o2 sensor at end of header is working. Is it bad to run the car with second o2 sensor on cat out of order? If so, what will happen? Btw, toda header and exhaust setup is great...i will have pics soon. Spoon n1 is loud, but sounds B E A UTIFUL! Anyways, let me know about the o2...like if i need to buy a new one or what...and how much do they run? Thanks.

Yeah the o2 is back in, but the wires are not connected...
It's just filling up the hole.
