Default Ignition problems??

Well i had an apexi turbo timer on my car for some time. EVERYTHING was working perfectly, i had it soldered to the ignition switch like the DIY stated to do. Well after a few months of having the turbo timer, i would turn my car on and the turbo timer would start counting down. My motor would still run perfectly fine but the only thing keeping my car running was the turbo timer. I unplugged my turbo timer to see if it would just start up thinking i might have a defective turbo timer. Well no, the car would turn but wouldnt start. So i plugged the turbo timer back in and it starts up great but the turbo timer starts counting down.... Do i have a bad ignition switch?? Do i need a new ignition thats on my steering column??? Thats the only thing i can think of..... Unless there is a relay somewhere that is going bad that needs replacing, let me know, thanks

sounds like a wiring issue when you did the install.....

negative, i checked all the wiring and followed the article from step to step.... I double even triple checked the wiring. Im pretty sure its my ignition. I took out the turbo timer completely and the car still wont turn over, then when i plug the turbo timer back in, the car runs perfect but the turbo timer counts down.
