Idle problems
well sometimes while im at a red light the rpm drops close to 0 then goes up to 1 and so on and so on....i changed gas filter and plygs still does it...theyre talkin about a sensor....if someone knows....can u tell me which one...also what spark plug is better, bosch platinum or ngk..i have a b18a1 w/ 128,000 got intake, exhaust and a few more mods
It may be a map sensor, but that would throw a check engine light. Maybe you need to have the idle adjusted. Stay away from Bosch plugs, they're junk, IMO. NGK all the way, and the ones that come in a Honda box.
Does the car stall, or just drop down low? Do you notice your electric fan coming on when this happens?

hmm it doesnt shut off...just drops goes up drops goes up....and i havent pushed the teg after the plug change..so dont know if the denzo plugs work better the the bosch...
you should try bleeding your coolant. it's a common problem with hondas to idle like that when there is air trapped in the coolant system.
if you haven't noticed any external coolant leaks you should probably plan on having your head gasket replaced soon.
if you don't already have one go to an auto parts store and buy a radiator funnel. (i think i paid about $15 for mine.) it screws on to your radiator in place of the radiator cap and is the best way to bleed your coolant. poor coolant into the funnel until it's about half full. then you need to find your coolant bleeder (similar to a brake bleeder) i can't think of exactly where it's at on the integra but it should be obvious. run the car and periodically open the bleeder. keep doing this until the cooling fan comes on (you may want to hold the RPMs up around 2500 to speed up the process) after the fan goes back off, turn the ignition off, and wait a couple of minutes before removing the radiator funnel.
that should take care of the problem.

This seems to be a big problem with Honda's/Integra's. I have the same problem. Mine idles smooth when cold, then when it warms up it fluctuates up and down, up and down, when in neutral or clutch it depressed. RPM fluctuation is between 900-2000.
I pulled the FIV and noticed that where the water inlet and outlet are the tubes were somewhat pluged and corroded. I cleaned them out and it didnt seem to help much.
I have also heard it could be the Idle Air Control, a bad cat, low coolant, vacuum leak, or a blown head gasket. Geez, where do I start.

yeah, im having a similar problem, keep us posted on how it turns out, what works, etc.
Im removeing a test pipe, and putting a high flow cat on, im throwing a cel 45, and i think its because of the secondary o2 sensor. Hopefully the sensor is ok, and its just the test pipe throwing me off. If that doesnt solve my idle problem, then im a do the coolant thing.

WELL FINALLY MY IDLE PROBLEM IS FIXED....JUST A TURN OF A SCREW A WALLA!!! NO MORE UP AND DOWN IDLING...ONE QUESTION....WHAT RPM SHOULD MY TEG BE...RIGHT NOW ON IDLE ITS THE LINE ABOVE 0

Yea you have the same EXACT problem as me. When it's cold it is fine, but when it warms up it goes from 2k to 900. I was told that many hondas (specifically accords) get vacuum leaks and it's a quick fix (now that I think about it I remember it started occuring after I started cleaning off the wires and something probably popped loose). I called my shop and my mechanic said he has a machine that will tell him where the leak is and it can be fixed within minutes. He said he gets that problem with hondas often. I will probably drop it off tommorrow. I'll share how it turns out
