Well first off my car is a 94 gsr with a 00 b18c5 swap if that helps. Anyway I noticed today when I was driving that it would idle at 1700 in neutral then dip down to about 900 and immediantly go up. It would do this every 5 seconds or so. It almost felt like my car was going to stall. When my car is in gear it's fine, so I'm not sure what it could be. The only think that I think could've caused it is because I drove it when it was cold. Usually I let it warm for 10-15min before I drive, but I woke up late for school and had to get a move on. It did this even after the car warmed up. I didn't rev it high. Any ideas?

My GSR did almost the same thing when i swapped in OBD I ECU. It would idle normal though and drop down untill the point where it would almost die. I never figured out why exactly it was doing that.

 

yea mine is doing it now , im about to give up and bring it to the dealer(stealer)

 

yet another bump, the problem is getting annoying

 

this happens to alot of the accords i heard that it was b/c of a weak vacume hose.

 

ya my friend 93 ls has the same probly never found out wut was wrong with it just sold it

 

could be iac valve, vacuum leak
