Default idle issue HELP

here is the problem, i have a stock b18b turbo in a eg hatch and a couple of days ago i decided to drive my project car to work. i started it and let it warm up and everything was fine. it ran good drove it to work without a problem. and when i came to work i decided that i felt like my car was not safe enough outside so i decided to unplug the ecu and bring it to work with me. after 8 hours of slaving i got to my car re installed the ecu and started the car. it started right up with no problem and i let it warm up and when it was at operating temperature i started driving. than i went throw all the gears normally with no problems (i wasn't beating on the car just normal driving) than i was coming up to a red light and i put the car in neutral and than the idle started acting up and the rpms dropped really low and the car died. and now it does it every time. the car will warm up with no problem but while driving and than as soon as i put it in neutral the car dies. i already check and clean out the ivap and i replaced it with a spare one and it still doing the same thing. i'm wondering if unpluging to ecu is what caused this problem.

This happened to me before all I did was when I realized my idle was dropping, I pulled over to a neighborhood and just revved it. After that my idle was normal. instead of taking out your ecu you can take out the fuse from the fusebox under the hood

Take off your idle air control valve and clean it, and if need be start the car, and turn the little set screw on the throttle body clockwise, until your idle goes up to around 800...you basically want it set so the car will idle with the IACV unplugged, i had to do this about 2 years ago and havent had issues other then cleaning it every so often
