Default idle dropping

i noticed today while i was leaving from school my idle seemed to go down like it was about to die out. i wasn't in gear, i was on nuetral and i had my foot applyed to the brakes. all of a sudden it seemed to just drop like about the 350-500 range then it seemed to just go up normally around the 600-750 range. jus want some feedback if anyone has experienced this problem. or if something is wrong with my car. thanks!

I have that problem sometimes but that's only when my a/c is on. Is your car at normal operating condition when this happens?

Well a quick fix to help that idle issue use a flat screw driver and adjust the screw on the side of the throttle body, that will open it a little more so your car gets some air. But to really fix it for good clean your IACV.

From reading on here, the school of thought is not to touch that screw and to just clean your IACV. That should solve the problem. I haven't done this ever or had the problem, however, my car is a 96 and i will be cleaning this soon cuz it probably never has been. There should be a good DIY to follow in the search somewhere.
