Default IACV problem?!..

Taking out the IACV to inspect and clean, for a LS/VTEC with B16 head, is it fairly easy to take off and put back on, i looked at it, seemed like a very tight squeeze to get into. And when putting back on, is there any kinda of timing adjustment or anything that needs to be adjusted after putting the IACV back on? Also, what cleaner can I use? i heard carb cleaner brake cleaner or simple green? Thanks!

No timing needed. Just gotta skin some fingers geting the bolts loose and then have fun taking those hoses off. Oh yeah be careful not to let the hoses point downward or you'll loose a bit of coolant out of them.

I see, on a scale of 1-10, how would rate the difficulty of it, im thinking of doing it myself, as a first timer, instead of buying a new or good IACV, but i do have a diagram of how it looks like and everything and how to take it out and clean/fix. Im just concerned if things will F*ck up easy. But i assume its fairly easy not to F*ck it up?. , Also you think its worth the shot to clean it and see how it turns out first, then to just buy a new one?

1-10, I'd say 3 tops. It is worth it because they can be pricey. Cleaning it ussually helps alot.
