i want to re-build my ls-vtech
New at this so be gentle...i have a ls-vtech and i dont want to get rid of it..i want to re-build it...it's a b-18...all i have done to it so far is a header "running 2 and a quarter from the header to the muffler"..cold air intake... i want cam gear because i hear everyone talk about how "bad *** they are"..but i dont know much about them...let me know people

ppl might flame you so be ready , VTEC NOT WITH A H . it says it on the valve cover man cmon.

no . what you need is to get parts that you know what they do. Also im not doubting you but i know dam well you dont have LSV with the way your asking about what to do.

list everything done to this lsvtec of yours. was it properly rebuilt with new bearings, rod bolts, etc.? or did you just slap a vtec head on there and go? or did you buy it already built therefore not knowing anything done to it?

But like other said, its looks like you have a lot of searching and researching to do. You also need to set aside a budget and don't forget to include money for a engine management and tunning.

i havnt done much to it...i have a header and i ran 2 and a quarter from the cat back...oh and a cold air in-take...i mean i want to get it re-built. and i guess i do have alot of research and readin ahead of me

If you need bearings and piston rings, I have some that I purchased for my rebuild, but I won't be rebuilding for awhile, so they are for sale.
Also, if you are running on stock LS pistons, I have a set of PR3 pistons that will up your compression for better performance.
