Get a front clip of a type-r.............you get a motor and the front end of the type-r. Would be better then "just" gettin it fix. Good lock, let me know what you do??

i had a lot less damage than that on my civic, it needed a new bumper support, new bumper cover, new left fender, new fender skirt, new headlight, new paint on the hood, new rad support and some framework, ended up being $2,500 at a reputable shop using all OEM parts except for refurbished bumper cover and fender. go with the JDM front end, it will cost a lot less if you do it yourself and just have a shop do the framework and paint.

Re: (GSRRacer95)
Radiator supports looks salvagable, just need to get it pulled on the frame machine.
Labor + paint - $100-200
Bumper - under $100
Headlight - under $100
97 ITR lip - $120
You're set.

Maybe you should teach your girl how to drive!! doesnt look like there's frame damage, so you got lucky. id go with a type r conversion. you can do alot of the conversion in your garage with basic tools and some friends. leave painting to a shop though.... good luck!

98+conversion has j00r name on it!
don't buy NEW OEM exterior parts for a USED car........ **** just doesn't make sense to me

i had similar damage on my drivers side. i needed a fender, hood, bumper, headlight, blinker, radiator support and apron under fender. it was called a total cause it was 4000 damage with new parts. i took the check and fixed it with used parts. i went to a local shop and they were able to pull the radiator support and apron out. so i didnt have to replace them. it all depends if u wanna pocket some money or make ur car look better.

waste of money, IMHO, unless you REALLLLLLLLY want it (cosmetically, i think g3 tegs look the best w/ 98+ conversions )
.......... just my opinion though.......... do what YOU (your gf) want

Re: (notmightydx)
nobody mentioned you need headlights/corner lights as well if you decide to go back to stock(or anything other then JDM)... if it were me, I would just go for a VIS cf oem style hood, stock fenders, 98-01 front, type R lip, and get the whole front clip painted.

you will pay a little extra out of pocket after your insurance money comes, but not too much.

you can't pull a radiator support with a frame machine. You have to replace those once damaged. That car has at least $4000-5000 worth of damage, if it isn't totalled out, it'll be a big suprise to me.

Based on the way she drives. I'd say 94-97 bumper, it's the cheapest.
