ok here is the problem... my bros dc4 came with msd igintion which we had no problem but a weekago some how wires got shorted inside the distributor i guess and burned up the wires from the distributor and to fuse block inside the block(where the connectors are).... so i replace the distributor with my distributor and of course tape the wire back up so it wont short anything.... i started the car and it started fine.... and 3 days after driving all of a sudden exact same hting happened... the car shut down while i was going somewhere.... so i got it back to my house and tried to figure what was wrong but cant see anything..... checked ignition fuse that was fine.... check the wires and distributor and everything seems fine.... it has to be somewhere ignition but i duno where!!!!
the car cranks with the starter but seems like i get no spark or fuel so im assuming somehwere iginition is jacked up..... any advices???

check to see if you have spark... then let me know from there... sounds like you may have a iggnition problem or u may have a bad main relay... let me know if you have spark...thanks

 

i wrote it down...
it has no spark
fuel pump is not running
starter motor cranks
gauge cluster is out and car is not really turning on
radio power door dome lights work but not window....
it is ignition problem but not sure where it is.....

fuses??

 

check every single fuse using a DMM and check for proper voltage. is the rotor bolted on right? is the firing order correct, hook up a fuel presure gauge and read fuel preasure, is the fuel pump relay clicking?..

 

dude its not the fuel pump or fuses
i have checked all the fuses to see if anyone of them are blown but they are good. even the 50 A ignition fuse... fuel pump is not running at all or im getting spark... but here is wht i do not really get. my cluster lights are out and windows doesnt work but i get headlights dome lights radio n other system..... anymore ideas?

 

bro when i mean check ur fuses i mean also check the connectors to them u might just have a loose pin where the fuse connects to, evidently all these componenets share a same fuse or ground connection..try wiggling the fuses around with the key on to see if u get interior lights... check the wiring diagram for these components.

 

checked the fuse alaready..... i duno what it is!!!! im getting a multimeter from a friend so im gonna see whats going on a little..... theres a blue wire from distributor that goes to tachometer..... not sure if thats it but yea.... its weired
no crank no dash and no spark.... anyone else who had same or similar problem???
also how do i check if the pcm isnt fried?

i think its open in some wires but im not sure.
