The price depends on a couple different factors. A performance shop near my area charges $1000 just for an LS/VTEC setup (includes parts & labor). For a fully built head, they would charge $750 (includes parts & labor). I'm sure you can find it for cheaper. This shop is known to have high prices on everything they sell.

Not to sound picky, but your question is very open-ended and it all depends on the parts you want inside your motor. I have seen poorman's LSVTEC built with about $1500. I have seen my build start at $2k to eventually costing me like $7k. (Don't ask...lets just say....its best to spend the extra money the first time to get quality work!)
To answer your question, I would say....about $4000 should get you a 200whp LSVTEC considering you buy all your parts brand spankin new.

does that include labor? I would rather have a high revving vtec engine putting out 200whp than a 6800 redline engine putting out 220whp.

these are pretty comprable prices, I would say
