Depends on how deep your pockets are.
Search in the Forced Induction forum. Most bolt-on kits suggest something like 10psi or less. But then again, even at 1psi, you could mess something up if you're not tuned properly.

Yeah I no its all about the tuning im getting ready to run 25 lbs on my D series that I have rebuilt from the bottom to top but now I got a toy to mess with and I just wanted to run as much boost as I could On stock internals I guess my ? should have been how much Hp before rods give.
Also where you from jeremey

at that psi and on that compression with pump gas... you're going to run into detonation problems before you come close to throwing a rod... either that or a spun bearing or a blown headgasket. The rods should be the least of your worries.
Ok what psi are you talking cause if your thinking I said 25-30 psi that is on my d series engine and I have that built but now Im just wanting to no how much hp before rods let go on a b18b1 sorry im more of a d series fan and now im just getting into the b series a little to mess around.
