how to install a tachometer
i have a 98 integra ls and my friend just gave me a new tachometer for free. i was wondering if it was pretty easy to install it and how do i do it. Or would it be much easier to have it professionally installed for about $50. I'm very handy and if i can do it myself, it would really help me if someone would take me though the steps. if you have any information please send it to me at turbolag98@aol.com
my cousin and i did it ourselves for the first time... it'e pretty easy and can be done in an hour or so... just make sure you have a fuse on the positive wire like i did... it should be in the instructions on the bottom... good luck
very easy. me and a friend did a shift light which is the same thing. it took us about 20mins after we went to honda and asked the mechanic where to plug it in.
ight u got a red wire -that would be the power or 12v /run it to radio fuse
then u got white wire-that would be insturment panel lighting/run to insturment lights on fuse.
then you got the green wire-run the green to the top of your destibutor it should be a blue wire
and finally a black wire- aslo known as the ground
thats it hide the wire and have fun
good luck essa later
