The ones on the cat... you can just pull one of them out, because it has a wire connecter, but how do you remove the other one????heeeeeeelp!

I believe they lock in by twisting clock wise.

THat's what's i thought? But you can't remove it even with a wrench..

the wires have connectors, but they still prevent a socket unless you get a Snap-On 02 socket (it's cut to allow for the wires).

I just use an adjustable wrench...this has worked countless times.

Get some PB Blaster too (can of spray)

yup, PB Blaster and an open ended wrench worked for me.

start ur car, let it run for a bit and get hot, then it will come off wayy easier!!!

I've seen PB blaster at Wally Mart. Accept no substitute!

PB Blaster, WD40, etc...all penetrants that will make the bolt turn easier.

Open ended wrench and a long pipe if necessary will do the trick.

Some people prefer one or the other...I use WD40, theyre basically the same thing.

pb blaster and wd40 are about the same thing we have pb at our shop and its tha ****!!! anyways get a 7/8 wrench you should be able to get that on the nut part of the o2 on the cat. there isnt much room especially if you are doin this in the driveway......if so you need the car on jackstands.....get teh wrench on and turn it counter clockwise if you are looking straight down on it and opposite if you are below the cat looking up.you ahould be able to get it if you let it soak for a bit.

If you have problems getting to the sensor w/ the 7/8 wrench take the cat shields off of the pipe.

alright, i'll give it try today... yea that's what we did early but the top shield has a hole that 02 sensor goes through to connect to the cat, so you need to remove the 02 sensors first before you can remove the top heatshield.

7/8" open end wrench, pb blaster and a good grip was all i needed.

Once disconnected it will be able to slide over the sensor out of the way. On my car I couldn't get the wrench on the sensor until I did that.
