So recently I noticed that my wheel turns easily with a pinky. I drove my buddys dc5 and the handling is great, the steering wheel is stiff and all. I like the feeling of my wheel stiff and heavy. Does anybody have ideas or upgrades i can do

did ur friend have power steering? u obviously do have it. maybe he did not, just an idea

Take out your Power steering belt. You'll be happy.

^ or do it the right way and remove everything (pump, lines), and loop your rack. Too much to explain, but not hard to do. Search.

Also...get a rear sway bar that's thicker than the stock piece. I just installed a 22mm Progress anti-sway bar yesterday and it feels great. I can definitely feel a difference when taking corners quickly.

yeah i took off my ps belt for about a week and its definetly stiff. but if your gonna do it, do it the right way, i dont know what the right way is, but its more than just taking the belt off.

and to omnirage: with the swaybar, are you at stock height and still feel a great increse in cornering? or are you lowered?

nah my friends rsx is brand new with ps. so rear sway bar would stiffing up the steering wheel

yea turns are fun with my 22mm itr sway bar too. it makes the stock bar look like a piece of sh&%.

its just i need an lsd! my last and final upgrade, other then my internals.

maybey a master bushing kit would help. there are alot of bushings in your suspension that go bad or are too soft. imagine all those bushings flexing in diffrent directions at the same time. if all the bushings were polyurethean (harder than normal oem ruber) you would most likely have better/tighter steering.

Yeah, right know i had a cheap no name one put into my Integra, but i have removed the Power steering, that helps alot.

Its all physics buddy. Decrease the diameter of the wheel and you'll increase the amount of torque needed tot urn the wheel. Get a smaller steering wheel.

na ur deff right i noticed the rsx is very tight also i think its jsut the car but i mean gettin rid of the ps would be a start

Well, I'm dropped two inches all around (barely tucking at all, I still have nice suspension travel), but there would still be a pronounced difference at any ride height. I'm thinking of bumping my height maybe 1/8" all around for a while to see how I'll like it. Yeah right!

he is exactly right. this will accomplish what you're looking for. you dont have to do all that other stuff everyone else said. you DO NOT need to get rid of power steering like everyone else is saying to have a stiffer feel in your wheel.

and polyurethane bushings to have stiffer turning feel in the steering wheel? wtf?

is the jdm dc2 srs steering wheel the same diameter as a usdm dc one? how about the jdm dc2 non srs wheel

dont be an idiot and remove your power steering like everyone here is saying unless you plan on making a drag car. just get a 320mm steering wheel. as for the jdm itr steering wheel, im not sure about that. ive never measured one out.

^ Nothing wrong with liking the feel of a car without power steering. I only weigh 150lb. and with no PS and a 280mm Momo steering wheel, it doesn't bother me at all. I love it. Anyone who thinks it's too rough is a sissy

Besides, getting a smaller steering wheel means sacrificing his airbag. Most people like to keep their airbag if it hasn't blown already
