Default how do I remove cables from the e-brake?

I got a new e-brake handle assembly for my '94 Integra, since the one I have now is crapped out. Anyway, wondering how I remove the two cables from the part of the e-brake assembly circled in the picture below. Thanks

release the ebrake and loosen the adjusting bolt until it comes off. then tug one cable to the side and it will slide up and out the slit. do the same for the other cable. next its just a couple 10 or 12mm bolts holding the ebrake to the floor. install is the reverse of the removal.
hope that makes sense; it should once you're looking at what im talking about. i'll see if the helms has a step by step.
