Do customlightz also aim the new retrofitted headlights before they ship it out?

HID kits are about the same price as a retrofit arent they? and retrofits give a much better beam/cut-off. i think the company is called HIDtech...try googling that. they have great pictures. only problem is u have to drive without headlights for about 2 weeks while u send them in to be retrofitted. i saw an rsx retrofitted with audi a4/s4 projectors....*drool*...so yea just google hid retrofit companies.

I think retrofits are more expensive. Especially when you get S2K ones.

they are located in Virgina, u can hit them up on aim customlightz, they are awsome they got a deal right now 200 bucks for labor and priority shipping, plus color mod, so u will get it in about a week to a week and a half, u supply your headlights and u can supply projectors (tsx, s2k, etc) or buy it from them, but hit them up they are amazing customer service is off the hook u won't be disappointed i will post some pics when i get home of my set up for ya as well

everyone will tell you to retrofit....definately it would be nice to do a hid retrofit BUT expect to shell out twice as much. The end product is just like the bmw's or whatever....

I happened to shell out the $250 or whatever I paid for the philips 4300k hid kit. Honestly, when HID's first came out, I thought spending over $100 for lighting alone was stupid....until i plugged in the kit. Since then, I havent regretted spending the money. I can actually see crap on the road, especially people wearing dark colored clothing and crossing the street at night. There is a slight glare but it isnt bad at all. I've faced cops at stop lights and they have never shined their spot light at me or had pulled me over because of my lights. Occasionally, I do get high beamed on dark side roads in the middle of no where...this is because there are no other lights on these roads and people's eyes cant get adjusted quick enough. Just my .02

Definately get HID's. If you can't afford retrofits, get a kit, it's better than stock. When I drive other cars with stock lights it feels so dark to me.

Here is my opinnion since I have done both the kit and retrofit. I bought kit for 400 which was about 4 years ago, and it was great. Lasted me for about 2 years and then one of the ballast blew out. At the time, I didn't know how to replace it and so I sold the kit. Now that I have retrofitted my headlight with Audi A6 projectors, it is brighter and wider than the kit, but not that much better than the kit. The really only benefit the retrofit over the kit is the flickering of the color. Anyways, my retrofit cost me over 800 bucks and one week of labor. $350 for Hella ballasts and Philip bulbs. $150 for the projectors. Another $150 for parts like renting the dremel, grinder, and buying the parts like bolts and stuff. Another $150 for buying another set of healight because I need a better headlight len cover and also need another headlight to put on my car so I can drive around. Reason why I bought another set of headlight because it was my first time doing the retrofit and so in case I mess up, I will have a spare headlight. Anyways, I ended up spending over one week on the retrofit because of the stupid aiming, and the projector is fitting in the center of the reflector chrome and so it was a good thing to have a spare headlight. So you will have to spend lots of time doing that. Hope this help!

that statment isn't true it also has to do with your projectors, cause i too have had a hid kit and now an s2k retrofit in my car and the difference is night and day, its birghter, wider, and with the color mod, my cutoff is more colorful and brighter then a stock s2k.. just fyi s2k, tsx and tl are amoung the best projectors out there, e46, e55, and audi are unfortuatilly on the bottom of the list
