so i did a search already but nothing came up.

so i just bought a 98 ls today and to my suprise there is no trunk latch.

i've opened the trunk once with the key but i had to fiddle with the locks and what not.

is there an easier process to doing this? thanks in advance!

 

yea i'd like to know that to. On my gs... i cant open my trunk unless i use the key ( which is annoying when u got stuff in there and want the car to run)

 

how do i open it with the key? i dont get it open everytime. and any idea what the latch is for?

 

just turn it really hard to the right and pull the latch, it should open...
