help: in the middle of JDM conversion...
I'm currently drilling the ******* spot welds out...
1) i think i got MOST of the weld on the left side, i got part of it lose but i can't seem to get the whole passenger side rad support come loose... do i need to do them both first?
2) is there any spot welds at the BOTTOM of the rad support?
3) do i need to drain and remove the radiator?
4) do i need to remove the AC condensor? I'm afraid i may break the condensor and leak the gas out...
This POS conversion is tiring and VERY timing consuming lol...

get allt he spot welds before worrying yourself with the radiator and condensor. see if the radiator supports just falls out with having to take out the radiator and condesnor, as far as i know you dont have to take out teh radiator, just unbolt it formt he support and anything else bolted to it. good luck.
mine took no time at all... but I had pulled my entire motor out. I assuming you've finished getting all the spot welds out but if not here is a picture of where they woud need to be drilled out..of course on left and right side..then the center
have you tried this write up: http://www.masetuning.com/jdmc....html

yes, but i'm not cutting my rad, i'm replacing the ENTIRE rad support, which is why i need to take out the whole USDM rad.
i am following this article: the official honda-tech JDM dc2 conversion he only mentioned "remove all the spot welds", and then show the below picture as the "welds example"... and that's it, so i don't know if there is any welds at the bottom of the rad supprt... not to mention several images of his How-To are missing...
The reason why i'm asking if i need to remove the AC condensor is that, IF i need to drill through the bottom, it would be safe to remove the condensor first... otherwise i can just attach the condensor and radiator with wires and support it with bricks so it won't fall off when i take off the rad support...

Yup yup the t-bar on the JDM rad support is the only thing different from the USDM rad
