Help me raise my integra back up....

Help me raise my integra back up....
So I bought a lowered Integra and its been nothing but an absolute nightmare since day 1
keep in mind i don't know the terminology or really anything about this so i need some major help..
had a mechanic look at it, he said it had cheap ebay springs on it, and that they were already raised to the max, the reason why it was so low is because the original owner took off both sets of oem springs and just left the one cheap set on there
i had a buddy look at it, he tells me that the springs were cut thats why they're so low and can't be raised up anymore
so i need to know at this point what i need to do/buy to get my car raised back up
the mechanic said i have to buy new struts unless i can find the oem springs? and that it would be easier just to buy new struts so i don't have to take the struts apart to get new springs on there?
my buddy said i just need to get some new coil overs and suggested i get skunks?
i wouldn't mnd having a little bit of a drop but if its significantly cheaper just to get oem springs thats fine too
can anyone help? im super lost, i can take pictures if need be

You have a few options 1,get OEM height springs for super cheap on cl ppl probably give them away as ppl generally don't buy used oem springs. 2 source out some used 92-00 civic struts(shock+springs) and use those they're compatible with our integra's again can be found for cheap I have 8 sitting in my garage as no one wants them lol so hunt around. 3rd get cheap shocks(kyb agx) and put a near stock height spring on it you'll retain comfort+gain some handling benefits. as for reusing your current shocks....you CAN but I'll bet the cut springs wore them ALOT faster then they would have been worn had it had stock springs but who knows maybe he did it a week before you got the car. as for coilovers avoid skunk2 I have plenty of skunk parts but suspension components aren't one of their strengths if you're looking for a cheap coilover set FF type 2 are ok not great but for 600$ it's not bad or if you want to get the good stuff the Koni/GC set up is great lots of ppl have it and love it.

If the car was lowered on those stock shocks, more than likely they are blown.
Just used oem springs will not fix your problem.
You can either buy new shocks and find some oem springs on CL for like 20$.
Or you can buy some tein green s tech springs and some tociko shocks,
Or buy the stock shocks and some top hats to compensate for the tein 1.5" drop.
They do sell heap cool overs on eBay for like 5-600$ that are 32 point adjustable. But idk how well they work.
The cheapest is probably used oem springs and new shocks.
Next is tein and stock shocks and top hats.
Then tein and tokico

yeah buy a popular reputation 1-piece coilover system, or the GC/Koni Yellow kit. that way you have a dependable suspension and if you ever choose to lower your car , you have it already there.

i would not mind the car being slightly lowered, in fact i prefer it but my car is so low at this point anytime i hit any type of bump its causing damage to my body and rad support so it needs to get lifted i will take a picture of the springs in a bit and put it up for you guys to see

ok so i took a pic of my suspension, judging by these pics it appears i have super cheap coilovers on the front, and stock in the back?
now its starting to make a lot more sense why my radiator gets bent everytime i hit a hard bump...it looks as if i have virtually no shock absorption

just get a set of use suspension at an junk yard autopart store and call it a day don't buy from craigslist because you won't be able to tell if the suspension is good or not until it install if you don't know anything about suspension yet don't bother buying any performance suspension until you research and know what you looking for as it been said if your spring are cut chance are your shock are dead, even though if you manage to find a set of oem spring you car will bounce over every bump as it was humping the road.
