I plan on getting a comptech header (unless anyone thinks there is something better in that $$ range), should I replace the gasket and will it come with one??

Yes, replace the gasket..ALWAYS replace the gasket...well i didnt once, thats cause it was only installed for like 10 minutes, and i hadn't tightened the manifold all the way


and it probably won't come with one...go to autozone...8-12 dollars

You should replace the donut gasket between the header and the cat. However, the gasket between the head and the header doesn't have to be replaced.

 

It will cost you about $20 at the dealer (did for me) to replace both gaskets. Why not just get both and be safe?
