i have a 1995 ls motor [non vtec for now] and i was wondering which type of vtec head would be the best for my car to get maximum performance out of it and why .. i was thinkin b18c but any other suggestions would help me out..
and by the way i want to run NA for now..
oh and another thing.. what would be some good internal set ups for the vtec head you choosed..

thats not a poor man's type R.
i poor man's is a GSR block with a b16 head.
To the OP a p72 head will yeild higher comp. because of the smaller combustion chamber but the pr3 head will have a slightly better flow, (stock for stock of course) what are your plans? more info please

my first focus is to port polush the head to match the ls block..then once that is done do internals.. my first instinct was to go SKunk2 and do cams and such but then i have options on what pistons and rods i have to choose.. this is why i wanted to see what other peoples results were in reguard to head work and what type of head people have since i want to run NA

What does your budget look like? Big, fat *** rich-bitch or skinny college kid, eating top romEn (sp)
I had succes w/ an ITR head w/ my LS motor...PR3 pistons and ARP rodbolts did the trick... Made 188/139
Seriously though...how much dough can you throw at it?
