First off are the heater hoses routed to the heater core? I've seen some janky swaps where people will just loop the heater hoses.

Next is the valve on the heater hose connected to the slider?

Last your heater core could be all corroded and blocked up.

Good Luck.

^^Good advice^^ also , is your car temp gauge reaching normal operating temp, or does it stay pegged at the cold side. Just curious, because if the coolant temp isn't warming up, the heater core won't either. Check the heater valve and make sure it is opening, you can do this manually if need be.

If the temp guage on the dashboard stays near Cold, then the thermostat is stuck open. Replace that and you'll be good. But if you're not getting any heat at all through the vents, then I would suspect the heater hoses aren't hooked up correctly to the heater core.
