Whats up everyone......just had a quick question.....i got stuck in the snow today and in order to get out of the snow I was spinnin the wheels out because of the snow.......now my car sounds funny(like a ticking noise) when i press the gas.....and the check engine light is on....what can the problem be....please help me out

Short of doing that, just get the code and we can work from there.

 

im gonna go to the shop tomorrow morning to get the code....is there any way for me to get the code with out goin to the shop

 

find the jumper connector under the glovebox (big green rubber cap), pull out the connector and stick a wire into the two holes (to connect them). then turn the key to ON and watch the CEL.

long blinks means tens digit
short blinks means ones digit
i.e. 4 long, then 5 short = 45 which is running rich/lean
