Default Heatshield

I'm just wondering if it would cause my teg many negitive effects if I took it off... I'm sick of it!! All it does is rattle, than I take it in and they weld on it. Its fine for a bit longer and it starts to rattle again!! I dont wanna weld on it cause I dont know if the heatshield it goina be too thin. Anyway, should I take it off or would that cause too much heat under the hood? Thanks!

it'll heat up your hood substantially but things should be ok. If you have a short ram intake it'll basically suck all that hot air in

i took mines off the day i got my car. No problem or anything. Well, i have plenty of problem actually but nuthin to do w/ the heat shield though, haha. If your really worry about the under temp then go get thermo tech products. They're good-@ss shiet! They have heat barriers for jus about ANYTHING! highly recommend their products, they give your engine a race look too!
