Removing heat shield?
As far as i know the heat sheild does nothing for the engine and simple protects
me, the owner, from burning myself. So doesn't it just add weight then? I tried to remove it but the screws wouldn't budge. Is it welded on, or am i just a weakling
that can't get it off?

keep it. air flows fast when hotter and heat shield keeps heat in. why do you want all that extra heat floating around in your engine bay anyways?
