Default EM1 / GSR stock header fitment question

I'm putting my B16 back to stock, including a stock header. I have the stock B16A2 4-2 part of the header, but not the 2-1 that connects to the cat. A local friend has a complete 94-97 OEM GSR header..

Two questions:

1) Would the GSR 2-1 portion be a direct replacement for the B16 2-1?

2) If not, what would my fitment be like for a full GSR header? Stick down too far? Too long? or what..

I'd imagine the gsr lower portion would bolt up to the em1 upper portion but it'll prolly stick down farther than an em1 lower portion would.

Like.. 1"? 2"?

My car is going back to stock suspension as well, so I'm not concerned about scraping. I just want everything to appear bone stock from the exterior and in the engine bay.

The GSR header will be longer.

Not sure if the 2 will bolt up.

I think length would be the other enemy with the gsr header. Sure, it may hang lower, but it wont kill you.

Bump, I just want to double check.. before I buy a B16 2-1 downpipe

A GSR header is in no way compatible with a stock B16A2?

The header is compatible with the motor, but not with bolting to the exhaust because of the different length

The bolt pattern on the block where you bolt the header on a b16 manifold is the same as the Type-R. The GSR pattern is different. Using the full gsr header is completely out of the question.

Don't have any idea about the lower section though.
