i'm about to put on a DC SS 4-2-1 header
I already bought new gaskets from the dealer
is there anything else i should do or plan for?

 

Get some WD-40 forthose bolts. Don't take out the radiator fans like everybody tells you to do. You do need to take out the black plastic splash shield thats attached to your bumper on the buttom of the car. Good Luck.

nothing beats it
it get's into spaces down to the millionth of an inch
the stuff is amazing

 

Try not to bolt it too much or you will break it. Broken mine, my friend broke his geez those thing are so sensitive. Good luck.

 

did you go by torque specs in the factory manual?

 

Always tighten the manifold from the inside out. Meaning the inside bolts to the outer bolts. I didn't torque them, there is no need. It will seal good with a stock gasket.
